JP Scott

1909 - 2000 (Louisiana, USA)

Construction worker and family fisherman, whose salvaged scraps of wood, metal, flotsam and jetsam, adorned celebratory chapels, vessels and totems honouring his formative life experiences. The monumental fishing boat sculpture featured in the show reveals the complexity of his vision.
