Adib Fattal
Adib Fattal is a singular artist who works out of his home in Damascus, Syria. Fattal’s drawings seem simple; yet they discuss idealisations of urbanisation from a uniquely Middle Eastern position. Fattal is often presented in accumulation, as in the Mardin Biennale (2014) and his monumental installation at the Istanbul Modern (2016).
