Jimmy Lee Sudduth
1910 - 2007 (Alabama)
Blues musician and image maker, whose impressionistic mud and berry finger-paintings of figures, architectures and histories gave honour to his herbalist mother and their beloved Mississippi soil. Several of the artist’s brown-washed works on paper and board are featured in this exhibition.
