Jarvis Cocker’s Good Pop Bad Pop

15.05.2022 - 19.06.2022

The Gallery of Everything presents Jarvis Cocker’s Good Pop Bad Pop: an immersive installation conceived and curated with musician and broadcaster, Jarvis Cocker.

Spanning five rooms within the gallery’s Marylebone HQ, Jarvis Cocker’s Good Pop Bad Pop is both a standalone walk-in environment and visual investigation into the personal archive of its esteemed author.

Upstairs spaces display the minor mementos which have fashioned Jarvis Cocker’s worldview, alongside an illustrated manifesto in which the teenager outlined his plans for global domination.

Downstairs an archive of films and performances play, alongside never-before-seen ektachrome prints taken by Jarvis Cocker’s grandfather, the late photographer Hugh Hoyland.

Additional artworks include: Bin Bag Installation (2022); 20 Golden Greats (2010/13); and Teenage Bedroom (2022), a personal space lined with posters, flyers and lyrics from the Cocker archive.

Available for sale are limited edition signed prints by Jarvis Cocker and photographs by Hugh Hoyland. For available works please click here.

Happenings throughout the exhibition include talks, readings, record playing sessions and more. For invitations, please click here.
